Appeal for witnesses following indecent exposure

Dorset Police have reported that a man indecently exposed himself to a woman in her 20s in Horseshoe Common at around 5:30pm on Sunday 31 March.

The man was reportedly stood in the bushes nearby when the act was committed.

The victim was allegedly cycling alone when it happened, and is said to be left ‘shaken’ following the incident.

Detective Sergeant Karen Penn, of Bournemouth CID, said: ‘I would like to reassure members of the public that a full and thorough investigation is underway.

‘Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team are fully aware of this incident and will be carrying out regular visible patrols in this area.’

A 58-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of exposure, but has been released on police bail.
