Tim studied English Literature at Bristol University 2007-2010, and is currently studying for an MA in Multimedia Journalism at Bournemouth University.
His experience in media includes writing for an in-house magazine at Science company QinetiQ during his gap year, stints at various voluntary music magazines during University and an internship at commercial radio station Andover Sound in 2010.
He has particular interests in feature writing and documentary making. In his spare time, he practices amateur stand up comedy.
Violent clashes across Syria
There have been violent clashes between government troops and rebel forces across Syria.
The heaviest fighting has been taking place in the outskirts of the Syrian capital of Damascus. Government soldiers have set up checkpoints along the roads to towns including Harasta, Douma and Sakba – all within 15 km of the Capital. Convoys of tanks have been seen advancing towards rebel held areas, and intermittent gunfire can be heard.

Landlords support Boscombe housing plans
The National Landlords Association has said it will cooperate fully with the Council in its plans to improve standards of housing in Boscombe.
Earlier this month, the council called on local landlords to help them improve standards in the area, after an assessment found that it is one of the most deprived parts of Bournemouth.
They have said they want local landlords to help them identify properties that need improving. They also said they want to help tenants by providing them with guidance and advice if they think their property is not up to scratch.
