Tim began his career as a trainee journalist in the newsroom at local radio station Leicester Sound in 1997 before moving into production and presentation of programmes in Cambridge, Peterborough, Coventry and Northampton. In 2004 Tim became Programme Director at Spain’s largest English language radio network Spectrum FM. He took the network of six stations to number one in the market and had editorial responsibility for all content including news, features, music and promotions. Tim returned to the UK in January 2014 to undertake an MA in Multimedia Journalism at Bournemouth University. He continues to be a consultant for the Spectrum Media Group in Spain and their daily Breakfast Presenter
