Poole Quay’s firework spectacle will be accompanied by an evening of family activities and live music.
Tonight, Poole Quay will be struck with lights and colours, but today will also be full of activities for the whole family. Jamie Jigsaw, organizer of the children’s activities said:
“It’s a real family vibe. Just like the summer firework events there’s something for all ages to enjoy. Some of the cafes, shops and bars open later too so you can enjoy a hot beverage too.”
There will be live music, street entertainers, jugglers and fire performance leading to the magical fireworks over the sea, which will start at 8pm.
Live performances will include classic rock by Mr Kyps and 40s and 50s swing from Real Vintage and Miss Annie. There will be a vintage vibe lighting up the evening where you can dance and be transported to another era.
There will be many activities for children too, including a hoola hoola workshop, diverse rides and bouncy castles. Jamie Jigsaw will also be there to provide crash courses on circus skills, he said:
“It’s probably dorsets biggest free firework display.”
