From painting with chalks to singing and reading, the streets of Bournemouth are the stage for homeless artists and their interaction with society. Sitting in corners and alleys, they express themselves through art and stun passers-by with their talent.
To use the words of Amy Lowell, poet and critic from the late 19th century: “Art is the desire of a man to express himself, to record the reactions of his personality to the world he lives in.”
*The homeless artists shown here chose to remain anonymous therefore we have refrained from publishing their real names.
