‘Government supports asylum seekers rather than homeless’

Homeless person, Bournemouth

I do not follow any political parties because, at the end of the day, the government does what they want to do. They do not listen to people.

I have not got any kind of help from the government. To improve their image, they put the homeless in private accommodation for a few days when it goes below zero, and when we start getting used to sleeping on the bed, they kick us out again.

I do not want any offence to any community. But in Bournemouth, at this moment, the government supports asylum seekers rather than homeless people, which is unfair. I am not a racist, but they have priority over natives here.

If the government is doing good for them, then do it for everybody because at the end of the day, everyone is human. Everyone has a life. Everyone should get a home. And everyone needs the same help.
