‘It would be helpful if the government help small businesses’

I’ve had this studio for about a year and a half now. Prior to that, I was a police officer.

These are not easy times. Honestly, I don’t have much faith in the government anymore. People with my sort of business [are struggling]. Barbers, nine times out of ten, people want to get their hair cut. Same with food, everyone needs to spend money on food. So, unfortunately, with people struggling financially… It doesn’t matter whether you’re a brand-new business or a small business, we are all struggling.

So it would be helpful if the government could look into the business rates and see how they can help small businesses out. They just obviously want to get into government, and yeah, there’s a lot of false hope, unfortunately.
