Detectives in Bournemouth have released an e-fit image of an offender who they believe is responsible for a burglary in the Southbourne area of the town.
A man gained access to a house on Clifton Road and stole cash, at around 1.30pm on Sunday January 15th 2012.
The Southbourne area suffered from an average of 30 burglaries a month towards the end of 2011.
Detective Constable Steve Davis, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Following further enquiries, I am now able to release an e-fit of the man we believe is responsible for this burglary.
“I understand that the occupant answered the door and this man walked into her lounge. He then took a jar with money and left.
“I would urge anyone who recognises this man to contact me as soon as possible.”
The man is described as being in his late thirties or early forties. He is around five feet seven inches, with pale white skin, a thin nose and thinning light auburn hair which is falling forward.
